The Hunter Trade College is pleased to announce the appointment of a new CEO, Mrs Mallory Gleeson, to take over the College leadership from the beginning of 2018.

Mallory brings more than twenty years’ education experience to the role, including a ten-year tenure as Executive Director of Central Coast Community College.

The Hunter Trade College is a specialist senior secondary education provider where students complete their Higher School Certificate with a substantial component of their studies being specialist trade training at Certificate II and III level.

Mallory will bring a diverse range of ideas and skills that will strengthen and complement the existing College team following the retirement of the current CEO Mrs. Ann Holcombe.  

Mallory’s vocational education experience is an excellent fit with the College’s education program. The College Board sees this as an opportunity for the College to consolidate its current trade offerings of Construction, Electrotechnology, Automotive and Engineering - fitting and fabrication, and expand into other skills areas.

Mrs Gleeson said “I am looking forward to working with the Hunter Trade College team to expand on what is already a very successful model for getting students into employment through trade training while still at school.   The level of training at the College and extensive work experience gives students a phenomenal head start in finding employment in their desired career.”
